About the Role
A well-respected Boston-area community hospital with a strong academic affiliation is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Gastroenterologist to join its growing GI service line. This role blends the feel of community-based practice with the resources, collaboration, and prestige of a major academic medical center.

Key Responsibilities

Provide inpatient and outpatient general gastroenterology services

Perform routine GI procedures including EGD and colonoscopy

Manage general GI conditions (GERD, liver disease, IBS/IBD, GI bleeding, etc.)

Participate in rotating inpatient coverage and call

Collaborate with a tertiary GI service for complex case referrals

Engage in a multidisciplinary environment with APPs, nurses, anesthesia, and hospital leadership

Optional academic and professional growth avenues:

Qualifications
-
MD or DO, ACGME-accredited GI fellowship

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Eligible for a Massachusetts medical license

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications
