Shift: 7a-7a 24-hour call
Required Procedures:
- EMR: Currently using Paragon with plans to switch to EPIC later in 2026
- Patient Per Shift: 10 patients per day
- Coverage Type: Inpatient
- Normal GI procedures like endoscopies and colonoscopies, along with ERCP capability
- Support Staff Endoscopy-trained GI nursing staff for procedures
- ERCP Required
- Types of cases? Abdominal pain, GI bleed, SBO, food bolus, Ulceration, gastritis, perhaps diagnose carcinoma but no treatment.
Requirements:
- Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active TX State License
- Certifications: ACLS
