Job description
We have a client with a need for inpatient GI Call coverage, in Lufkin, TX. Our client is seeking 24hr call coverage, rounding/consults and procedures, including ERCP. Open dates are below as well as additional details. I am happy to discuss compensation, etc. if this may be a good fit. Required Procedures: normal GI procedures like endoscopies and colonoscopies, along with ERCP capability
Types of cases: Abdominal pain, GI bleed, SBO, food bolus, Ulceration, gastritis, perhaps diagnose carcinoma but no treatment.
Volume: Up to 10 patients a day
Anesthesia for backup; conscious sedation preferred.
EMR:Paragon; in process of transitioning to EPIC in 2026
Credentialing timeframe: 30-60 days
Qualifications
-Fellowship trained in Gastroenterology
-Board Certified
-ERCP Capable
-TX License
-ACLS
-Clean History
