- Call Schedule: 24-hr call; 7a-7a
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Coverage: ER consults with procedures generated from those.
- Patient Volume: Up to 10 (to round on & procedures)

- Support Staff: Endoscopy-trained GI nursing staff for procedures.
- Case Mix: - Abdominal pain, GI bleed, SBO - Food bolus, ulceration, gastritis - Diag. carcinoma (no treatment)
- Required Procedures: - ERCP (req) - Normal GI procedures like endoscopies and colonoscopies - Preferred: Conscious sedation

- Other Info: Hospitalist/s will admit the patients.

Requirements:
- Active TX License
- BC/BE in GI
- ACLS
- GI Residency
- Must have no excessive malpractice suits or medical board disciplines
