🏥 GI Hospitalist Opportunities – North East Atlanta Gastroenterology (United Digestive) – Lawrenceville, GA
Now Recruiting 2 Gastroenterologists!
United Digestive’s North East Atlanta Gastroenterology practice in Lawrenceville, Georgia is expanding and seeking two GI Hospitalists to join their collaborative, high-performing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice inpatient-focused Gastroenterology with strong APP support, predictable scheduling, and comprehensive day-one benefits.
📌 Position Highlights

2 GI Hospitalist openings
-
7 on / 7 off schedule (Total of 22 weeks per year)
-
General GI required
-
Consultative inpatient service from 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
-
Coverage includes all unassigned GI patients + United Digestive patients
-
Supported by 2 inpatient APPs, 7 days/week
-
Night call covered by current United Digestive physicians
-
Remaining 8 weeks per year of service covered by existing group
-
New grads through 2025 welcome!

Not accepting visa or locums candidates

📋 Requirements

Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine – REQUIRED

Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology – REQUIRED

Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain – REQUIRED

DEA (must be active prior to start; no exemptions)
-
Clean malpractice history preferred
