Gastroenterology Locum – 24-Hr Call | $4,000/Day | ERCP Required | Lakewood, CO

A premier Level 1 Trauma Center in Lakewood, Colorado is seeking urgent December Gastroenterology call coverage with ongoing dates into 2026. This is a high-acuity inpatient consult role with strong 24/7 hospitalist, intensivist, and trauma support. ERCP experience is required.

• Average callback: 11.5 hours

Schedule

• 24-hour call (7a–7a)

• Urgent need: December 7

• 5–7 days per month, ongoing into 2026

• Additional Jan–Mar dates released after

Role Details

• Setting: Inpatient, Level 1 Trauma

• Duties:

  • Scoping

  • ERCP (required)

  • EUS

  • Endoscopy

  • GI bleed management

  • General GI consults

• Patient Population: Adult, geriatric, adolescent

• Volume:

  • 8–10 consults/follow-ups daily

  • 5–8 scopes per day

• EMR: EPIC

• Support Staff: None (independent practice)

Required Qualifications

• Board-Certified Gastroenterologist

• Gastroenterology Fellowship

• ERCP proficiency (required)

• Active CO License or IMLC

• Active DEA

• Clean malpractice/background

• Availability for December dates to qualify for ongoing assignments
