Assignment Type: Locum Tenens – Inpatient Call Coverage
Location: Lakewood, Colorado
Rate:

Standard 24-hr call: $3,800 (includes 8 hrs gratis)

Holiday 24-hr call: $5,200

Call back: $400

Holiday call back: $500
Shift End Time: 7:00 AM following day
Assignment Details

Dates: Dec 7 (immediate), additional Jan–Mar dates will be offered once Dec 7 is filled

Schedule: 5–7 days per month, ongoing into 2025

Shift Type: 24-hour call (7a–7a)
-
Setting: Inpatient, Level 1 Trauma Center
-
Timeframe: Standard 60–90 days; emergency privileges 1–2 weeks with a clean file
Patient Population & Caseload
-
Adult, Geriatric, and Adolescent (15+ years old & 50 kg for pediatric trauma only)
-
GI consult service; does not admit patients
-
8–10 new patients per day, plus follow-ups
-
5–8 scopes per day
-
24/7 hospitalists and intensivists onsite
-
24/7 Trauma services onsite
Job Responsibilities
ERCP & EUS (must be able to perform ERCP)
Management of GI bleeds
Evaluation & management of GI problems
Documentation in EPIC EMR
Qualifications / Submission Requirements
Board Certified in Gastroenterology – Required
Active CO License or IMLC – LOQ must be in hand at submission
Active DEA – Must remain valid for the duration of assignment
Availability for Dec dates to be considered for ongoing coverage
Must be able to perform ERCP – note in candidate presentation
Qualifications
