Job description
SSM Health is seeking a physician leader to serve as Associate Medical Director (AMD) for the Wisconsin region. This 0.1 FTE leadership role is designed to complement your clinical responsibilities while providing strategic oversight and operational guidance across the specialty area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement regional care standards, including clinical guidelines, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives that support Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Provide oversight of the clinical care delivery team and ensure consistent, high-quality care across the region.
- Collaborate with administrative leaders to establish and execute the strategic vision, goals, and objectives for the clinical program.
- Monitor and guide regional financial performance to meet budgeted targets and support sustainable growth.
- Facilitate bi-directional communication between frontline teams, regional leadership, and system-level stakeholders.
- Promote alignment of care delivery models and best practices across the broader SSM Health system.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified physician with demonstrated leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of clinical operations, quality improvement, and healthcare finance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
