- Work Dates Needed: ASAP- June; potential to extend
- Preferred Schedule: Mon-Fri (8a-5p) w/rotating call 1:7
- Full time coverage needed
- Preference in 1-2 providers who can offer 2+ weeks per month
- Min availability to be considered: 1 week per month
- Worksite Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient
- Scope of Work:
- Standard GI; diagnosing, managing treatment and prevention of diseases of all the organs in the digestive system, including the GI tract (esophagus, stomach, and intestines) and biliary organs (liver, bile ducts, pancreas, and gallbladder;
- Avg patients per day: 8 per half session of clinic (UMG practice standard)
- General GI procedures required:
- Avg 25 cases a week
- Required Procedures: colonoscopies, endoscopies, basic functionalities of a GI physician;
- 2 clinic sessions per week and 2.5 days of endoscopy per week;
- Hospital rounding
- Support DOC clinic/fellows clinic (requires overseeing Fellows);
- Support Staff: RN’s and MA’s in office; 2 RN’s in procedure rooms with CRNA
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active CT license, IMLC accepted, BC,
- EMR: Epic
