Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Gastroenterology Physician with a target start date of January 2, 2026.
About this Physician Gastroenterology Role:
24hr call coverage + rounding. Block needs to start Friday at 5pm and end on the following Friday at 5pm or 8a
- 8 am rounding + 4-6 outpatient procedures scheduled in endoscopy usually screening colonoscopies
- Weekdays: Physician will meet with PA on call at 8am to review patients and round, will then have an average of 5 scheduled outpatient procedures. On call throughout day/evening.
- Weekend: Call Coverage; rounding needed in hospital based on volume/patients.
- EMR: EPIC

1/2/26 5pm-1/5/26 8am
1/9/26 5pm- 1/19/26 5pm
1/30/26 5pm-2/2/26 8am
2/6/26 5pm-2/16/26 5pm
2/27/26 5pm-3/2/26 8am
3/6/26 5pm-3/16/26 5pm
3/27/26 5pm-3/30/26 8am
Will be more dates available after March
Requirements for this Gastroenterology Role:
· PA License
· Board Certified/Board Eligible
· ACLS, BLS, DEA
· Minimum 1 year of experience
