Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join the team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong diag abilities, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care. This role involves performing procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and biopsies, as well as managing chronic GI diseases.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage patients with GI tract and liver disorders including GERD, IBS, IBD, hepatitis, ulcers, and colon cancer.
- Perform diag and therapeutic procedures such as:
- Upper and lower endoscopy (EGD, colonoscopy)
- Polypectomy
- Esophageal dilation
- Capsule endoscopy
- ERCP (if applicable)
- Interpret results from diag tests such as endoscopies, imaging studies, and lab tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and dietitians, as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Educate patients about GI health, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in coverage rotations, departmental meetings, and continuing education.
