Job description StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a Leading Healthcare System located in North Central Florida to assist them with the recruitment of a Gastroenterologist to join a private practice in the community.

  • No trauma or bariatrics
Qualifications / Highlights of the Practice:
  • Seeking board eligible or board certified Gastroenterology candidates.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • ERCP or EUS experience is not required but highly valued, as these services are currently unavailable elsewhere in the community.
  • Join a well-established practice comprising 2 board certified gastroenterologists and an ARNP.
  • The ARNP has hospital privileges to assist with inpatient consults.
  • The practice operates from spacious office premises with its own surgery center and additional services including anesthesia and pathology.
  • Opportunities for clinical research involvement are available for interested candidates.
  • Visa support is provided for eligible candidates.
The hospital you will cover is a 113-bed acute care hospital that serves the residents of North Central Florida. It offers a wide range of medical and surgical programs that include 24-hour emergency care, heart care, interventional cardiology, orthopedics, cancer care, imaging, and rehabilitation services. The facility has also received several certifications and accreditations to include: Disease Specific Certification as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval®, Named one of the nation's “Top Performers on Key Quality Measures®” by The Joint Commission, and Chest Pain Accredited by the American College of Cardiology.
