Outpatient Gastroenterologist needed in IL Located in Rockford, 80m to Chicago Full Time Position Job Summary A growing health system in northern Illinois is seeking a BE/BC Outpatient Gastroenterologist to join their expanding team in Rockford, IL. Key Responsibilities Shape and grow a dynamic digestive health program to meet a rapidly expanding community need. Receive quaternary support from a major university hospital with access to weekly tumor boards and clinical trials. Collaborate with a primary care network of 140 providers to ensure a strong referral base and continuity of care. Work with an interdisciplinary cancer team at a leading cancer center with significant local market share. Local teaching opportunities with rotating GI residents, fellows, and medical students. State-of-the-art facilities with the latest diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. Utilize EPIC EMR for streamlined patient care coordination.
