Job description
A healthcare facility in Grand Forks, ND, is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to provide locum outpatient coverage. This position involves performing endoscopic procedures and related diagnostic and therapeutic interventions in a fully equipped outpatient center. No call responsibilities are required.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI procedures.
Collaborate with CRNA, RN, and technical staff in procedure rooms.
Maintain accurate and timely charting and documentation.
Provide patient-centered care with a focus on quality outcomes.
Qualifications
Active medical license (ND or IMLC eligible) – REQUIRED
Minimum of 2 years of recent endoscopy experience – PREFERRED
Strong procedural and diagnostic skills in GI endoscopy.
Working Hours
5x8 schedule (40 hours per week)
No on-call duties
Skills
Proficiency in therapeutic GI techniques (biopsy, dilation, cautery, variceal injections)
Strong collaboration and communication with clinical staff
Efficient procedural workflow and EMR documentation
