Overview:
Seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to provide part-time locum coverage. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with support from a dedicated medical team and access to full hospital privileges.
Job Responsibilities
Coverage Focus:
General GI (acute/chronic conditions, new patient access, endoscopies, hospital consults)
Outpatient support and ambulatory scopes
Collaboration with the existing GI group on call coverage
Patient admits and rounding
Team Environment: Provider will not work solo
Qualifications
Active Illinois Medical License and CSR (required)
DEA certification required
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of experience
IMLC not accepted
