Gastroenterology Locums Physician - Tennessee, 1-2 Weeks a Month
This Gastroenterology assignment is located in Tennessee, near Nashville.
Highlights
- 7-day blocks; only 1-2 weeks per month
- ERCP required (no EUS)
- All travel covered; airfare, hotel, rental car
- Open to IMLC physicians
Practice Setting
- Inpatient-only at two hospitals (20 minutes apart)
- Level III trauma center with endoscopy suite and main OR access
- Support from in-house Endo and OR nurses
Schedule
- 24-hour call, 7 AM - 7 AM for 7 consecutive days
- Rounding, urgent consults, and procedures during the day
- Flex blocks with time off in between
Cases and Procedures
- ERCP, GI bleeds, abdominal pain, food bolus, liver enzymes
- No clinic, no EUS
Requirements
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Proficient in ERCP
- Tennessee license or IMLC LOQ
- BLS, ACLS, DEA required
Travel Accommodations
- Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage covered
- Nearest airport: Nashville International (BNA)
