Gastroenterology Locums Physician in Tennessee - 1-2 Weeks a Month
GI call assignment in Tennessee near Nashville with 7-day blocks and ERCP-focused inpatient work.
Highlights
- 1 to 2 weeks per month; you choose the blocks
- ERCP required (no EUS)
- All travel covered, including flights and hotel
- Open to IMLC physicians
Practice Setting
- Inpatient only across two hospitals (20 minutes apart)
- Level III trauma center with endo suite and OR access
- Supported by OR and endo nurses
Schedule
- 24 hour call, 7 am to 7 am, for 7 consecutive days
- Rounding, procedures, and urgent consults during the day
- Float between hospitals weekly (never in the same day)
Cases and Procedures
- Common GI procedures including ERCP
- GI bleeds, abdominal pain, food bolus, elevated liver enzymes
- No clinic, no EUS
Requirements
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Proficient in ERCP
- Active Tennessee license or IMLC LOQ
- BLS, ACLS, DEA required
