🔍 Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist Needed – California
📍 St. Joseph & Redwood Locations | Starting January 2026

🕒 Schedule Overview:
📅 Weekdays:
• Clinic: 7:30a–3:30p (St. Joseph) OR 7:40a–3:40p (Redwood)
• Night Call: 5:00p – 7:30a or 7:40a next day
🕗 Weekends: 24-hour call
💵 Billing Details:
• Clinic + Day Call (7:30a–3:30p or 7:40a–3:40p): Paid at regular hourly rate
• Night Call (5p–next morning): Paid at night call rate + call-back if applicable
🥪 Note: ½ hour unpaid lunch on weekdays
📌 Shifts will begin Jan 2026 – specific dates assigned post-privileging
🏥 Work Details:
• Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient
• EMR: Epic
• Patients per shift: 12–16
• Support staff: ✅ Yes
• Providers requested: 1
🛠️ Skills Required:
✔️ Upper GI Endoscopy
✔️ Esophageal Dilation & Manometry (incl. interpretation)
✔️ Small Bowel Biopsy
✔️ Lower GI Endoscopy
✔️ Sigmoidoscopy
✔️ Colonoscopy
✔️ Liver Biopsy
🧾 Requirements:
✅ Board Certified in Gastroenterology
✅ Active California Medical License only
✅ Certifications Required:
• ERCP
• BLS
• Fluoroscopy Permit (Temp accepted)
📌 Note: We will accept temporary Fluoroscopy licenses for this role — but providers must obtain a permanent CA Fluoro license within 1 year of issue date.
