Gastroenterology opening in Napa, CA 50 miles from San Francisco and 60 miles from Sacramento Details: * Full-Time * Permanent position * Outpatient gastroenterology practice with procedural focus * Support from MAs, PAs, and office staff to maximize efficiency * Structured schedule with no routine call responsibilities Assignment Details * Start date: as soon as possible * Coverage Type: No Call * Schedule: 7-10 days per month of call required * Patients per Day: 12 * Call Details: 7-10 days per month of call * EMR: Epic Requirements * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology * Clean history Clinical Details * Scope: Full-scope gastroenterology practice including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy * Typical Procedures: * Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices * ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) * Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) placement * Small bowel biopsy * Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision * Flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy (preferred) * Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube (preferred)
