Gastroenterologist Locum Tenens – Inpatient/Outpatient + Call Coverage
📍 Texas | Trauma Level III | Ongoing Assignment | TX License or IMLC Accepted
We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Texas, covering both scheduled clinical hours and call. This role includes a mix of inpatient and outpatient work at a Trauma Level III facility with full support staff and modern systems in place.
Assignment Overview
Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
End Date: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Clinical Hours + Call (Schedule TBD)
Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days
Facility Details
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
Trauma Level: Level III
Beds in GI Department: 3
Patient Volume: 10–15 patients per shift
EMR Systems: Athena & Medhost
Support Staff: Full team on-site
Clinical Scope / Required Skills
Upper GI Endoscopy
Lower GI Endoscopy
Colonoscopy
Candidate Requirements
Board Certification: Required (Gastroenterology)
Fellowship: Gastroenterology Fellowship Required
Licensure: Active Texas license or eligible through IMLC
Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS (Required)
