Overview:
St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Gastroenterologist to join our dedicated gastroenterology team in 2026. As a vital part of our multidisciplinary healthcare program, you will provide comprehensive GI care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, making a meaningful impact on our patient population. As part of our dynamic team, you will have access to cutting-edge technology, including the Da Vinci XI Robotic Surgery System, and the support of a robust network of primary and specialty providers.

Position Highlights:
- Full-time, hospital-employed role within a well-established gastroenterology program.
- Ambulatory clinic with dedicated time spent with patients in the office.
- OR Block time for procedures.
- Current practice consists of 2 MDs, 2 APPs, and a dedicated team of LPNs to support your practice, offering a collaborative team environment.
- Robust primary care referral base ensuring a steady patient volume.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary Range - $541,370 - $664,811 (commensurate with experience).
- Competitive compensation package, including base salary + sign-on bonus and semiannual bonuses for productivity.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, with opportunities for advanced procedures if trained.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, oncologists, and primary care physicians.
• Provide patient education and counseling, ensuring patients and families understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
• Stay current with emerging GI treatments and advancements in gastroenterology.
• Engage in community outreach and education programs to promote gastrointestinal health.
Qualifications
Preferred Experience - Advanced training in endoscopy or additional subspecialty certification is preferred but not required.
Education - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
Skills - Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient-centered empathetic communication skills
