Requirements
-- Board Eligible or Board Certified
-- BLS
-- North Carolina License Required
-- Fellowship: Preferred

Assignment Details
-- Practice Setting: Outpatient + Inpatient
-- No Resident or Teaching Supervision Required
-- Stroke Certified Hospital
-- Patients Per Shift: 10+
-- Beds: 86 at Location 1 + 154 at Location 2
-- EMR: McKesson and Athena

Required Skills
Upper GI Endoscopy:
-- With biopsy
-- With foreign body removal
-- With fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)
-- With injection of varices
-- ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography): Diagnostic +Therapeutic
-- With PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

Colonoscopy:
-- With biopsy
-- With excision of polyp

-- Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry
-- Esophageal Manometry Interpretation
-- Small Bowel Biopsy
-- Lower GI Endoscopy
-- Sigmoidoscopy: Flexible + Rigid
-- EUS (Endoscopic ultrasound) - PREFERRED
