- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 10+ patients per day. Currently experiencing shortages in GI coverage across two hospitals, creating challenges in managing patients with GI needs. To help address this, the facility is seeking locum support equivalent to a full-time position to assist with call coverage, manage the backlog of patients, and provide support for screening procedures. Coverage would include both weekdays and weekends, and we would like to explore options for 24-hour call only, 24-hour call with some clinic hours, and clinic coverage only. Prefer all-inclusive arrangements, and the provider would be expected to cover both hospitals while on call to ensure patients and families can remain closer to home during their hospital stays.

Job Responsibilities
* Assist with call coverage, including nights and weekends
* Manage backlog of patients and support screening procedures
* Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure continuity of care
* Provide timely consultations and follow-up for patients requiring GI services
Qualifications
* Active and unrestricted medical license
* Previous locum tenens or hospital coverage experience preferred
* Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the care team
Working Hours
* Options for 24-hour call only, 24-hour call with clinic hours, or clinic-only coverage
* Flexibility to cover both hospitals while on call
