Job Summary

As a key leader, you will contribute significantly to the Vision 2030 transformation strategy and enhance gastroenterology services for Atlantic, Ocean, and Cape May Counties.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and lead a comprehensive GI program aligned with Vision 2030 goals.
- Create an academic GI division emphasizing research, education, and advanced clinical care.
- Develop advanced GI services, including complex endoscopic procedures.
- Recruit, train, and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
- Serve as a hands-on clinical leader managing complex GI cases.
- Drive collaboration across specialties in cancer care.
- Ensure consistent endoscopic block time and manage robust referral volumes.
- Foster workforce development through mentoring and training.
- Engage with underserved communities to enhance access and reduce disparities.
- Shape GI care delivery and education in the region.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology (Required).
- Active and unrestricted NJ state medical license (or willing to obtain).
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications (or willing to obtain).
- DEA and CSR/CDS certifications (or willing to obtain).
- Experience in program startup or leadership roles preferred.
- Open to experienced gastroenterologists only; new grads are not accepted.
License and Certification Requirements
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology (Required).
- Active NJ state medical license (or willing to obtain before start).
- Valid BLS, ACLS, DEA, and CSR/CDS (or willing to obtain before start).
