- Coverage Needed:
- 24 hour shifts:
- 12 hour in house coverage (2 sites, ~6 miles apart)
- 12 hour off site night call
- Specific Dates:
- 11/26 7am to 12/1 7am
- 24 hour shifts:
- Clinical Information:
- Support Staff: only Mon – Fri, not on weekends
- Hospital Support: PAs, RNs
- Practice Support: CMAs and PA
- Typical day:
- Scopes in the morning, generally start them at 8:00am, but call does start at 7am
- Then rounding(patient care) and see any consults that are called in
- Then to 2nd facility for the same thing. 2nd facility generally doesn’t have as many scopes, and not as many patients to round on
- Then back to the hotel on evening pager
- Patient ages: Adult
- Standard services from GI physician expected
- Daily patient volume: 27
- EMR: Meditech & PK
- eCW - Patient Keeper
- Gastro system: Provation
- Support Staff: only Mon – Fri, not on weekends
- Required:
- Board Certified
- Active SC License, CSR & DEA:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- ERCP Required – No exceptions
