Job description
An exciting Locum to Perm Gastroenterology opportunity is available in Des Moines, IA. This position offers 24-hour call coverage with inpatient focus, strong procedural volume, and the chance to transition into a permanent role. Travel, lodging, malpractice, and conversion fee covered.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform ERCP (required) and EUS (preferred)
• Manage inpatient procedures, consults, and 3–4 outpatient procedures per day
• Adult-only patient population
• Collaborate with hospital-based care teams
• Document care in Cerner EMR
Qualifications
• Active IA License or IMLC – Required
• ACLS Certification – Required
• ERCP skills – Required; EUS – Highly Preferred
• Clean malpractice & background – Required
• Must be seeking a locum-to-perm opportunity

• October 2025 start, ongoing coverage
