An exciting Locum Gastroenterology opportunity is available in Lakewood, CO. Provide inpatient consults and advanced GI procedures in a Level 1 Trauma setting with excellent support and flexible scheduling. Competitive pay and travel perks included!
Job Responsibilities
• Perform ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, GI Bleeds, and consults
• Manage 8–10 new patients daily plus follow-ups
• Complete 5–8 scopes per day
• Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and trauma team
• Use EPIC EMR (training provided)
Qualifications
• Active CO license or IMLC – Required
• Active DEA – Required
• GI Fellowship – Required
• ERCP & EUS skills – Required
• Clean malpractice history – Preferred
• Local/drive-in candidates – Highly Preferred
Working Hours
• Coverage needed Dec 23 – Jan 1 (holiday block)
• Ongoing coverage into 2026 (5–7 shifts/month)
