Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established and growing private practice group providing high-quality, patient-centered digestive care. The position offers clinical autonomy, advanced resources, mentorship, and pathways for partnership or leadership opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
Manage 15–18 patients per day
Perform GI procedures including: Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, Enteroscopy, Hemorrhoid Banding, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Infusion, Telehealth, Nutrition Counseling, TIF®, Video Capsule Endoscopy
Participate in 1:4 single hospital call schedule at Wellstar Spalding
Collaborate with a team of 3 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers
Deliver patient-focused, cost-effective, and compassionate care
Opportunity to participate in research, mentorship, and physician leadership initiatives
Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Required)
Active Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain (Required)
DEA license (must be obtained prior to start) (Required)
Clean malpractice history preferred
Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates (sponsorship provided)
Accepting new graduate candidates through 2025
Working Hours
On-call: 1:4 single hospital call (includes weekends)
Skills
Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
