Schedule & Coverage:

Inpatient only – 100% inpatient coverage

24-hour call coverage shifts

Shift Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (overnight)

Scheduled + on-call required

Average patient load: ~16 patients/day, including 6 consults

45–60 days to privilege
Team & Support:

Group of 4 physicians
-
APP support during weekdays
-
Solo coverage at night and weekends

Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital

Procedures Required:

Colonoscopy
-
Liver Biopsy
-
Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry & Interpretation

Lower GI Endoscopy
-
Sigmoidoscopy
Upper GI Endoscopy (required types):

With Biopsy
-
With Foreign Body Removal
-
With Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser)

With Injection of Varices
-
With Banding of Varices
-
With ERCP (preferred, not required)

With PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

Diagnostic & Therapeutic
Requirements:

Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Active South Carolina medical license (not willing to license)

DEA required
-
