Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for an ongoing 24-hour call opportunity in Tennessee. This role requires ERCP and involves floating between two sister facilities. Providers will cover emergent GI cases including bleeds, abdominal pain, food bolus, elevated liver enzymes, etc. Coverage is in a Level 3 trauma center with procedures performed in the endoscopy suite and the main OR.
Job Responsibilities
Manage emergent cases such as GI bleeds, abdominal pain, food bolus, elevated liver enzymes, and similar conditions
Perform procedures in the endoscopy suite and main OR
Float between HVMC and BRMC locations as scheduled
Document all encounters in Epic EMR
Maintain high-quality patient care standards
Qualifications
Active Tennessee medical license (required)
ERCP proficiency (required)
BLS certification
Clean background
DEA required
