Seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens coverage for inpatient gastroenterology services at a Level 1 Trauma hospital. Candidate must be skilled in ERCP, EUS, endoscopy, GI bleed evaluation, and general GI consults. 24-hour call shifts with 5-7 shifts/month, including holiday coverage.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage inpatient GI cases and emergencies
• Provide consultative services for adult and adolescent patients
• Participate in 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a), including weekends and holidays
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient care
Qualifications
• Active Colorado medical license (or IMLC eligibility)
• Active DEA registration required (transfers accepted if retained for assignment duration)
• Gastroenterology Fellowship completed
• Experience with ERCP and EUS mandatory
• Ability to complete EMR training prior to start
• Local/drive-in candidates highly preferred
