Job Description – Gastroenterology (Locum Tenens)

Location: Tennessee (Float between two sister facilities)
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule & Coverage
-
24-hour call coverage – 7am start, 7am next day

Rotating weekly blocks between two hospitals (schedule set through Dec 2026)

Cases: GI bleeds, abdominal pain, food bolus, elevated liver enzymes
-
Settings: Endo suite & Main OR
-
Patient volume: ~8/day
Work Details

Support: OR and in-house endo nurses

Patient population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Trauma Level: 3

EMR: Epic
Requirements
-
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
-
Active Tennessee license (IMLC not accepted)
-
ERCP proficiency required

DEA + BLS required
-
Clean background
Credentialing
