Join a leading healthcare system as a Locum Gastroenterologist, providing 24-hour hospital-based coverage in a 7-on/7-off rotation across two campuses. Enjoy a balanced schedule, competitive daily rates, and the opportunity to work with advanced GI procedures in a Level 2 trauma center.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient consults, procedures, and overnight call coverage
• Manage both campuses during your coverage week
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary medical team
• Document using Cerner EMR
Qualifications
• New Jersey License (or willingness to obtain) (Preferred)
• Proficient in advanced GI procedures (ERCP, EUS) (Required)
• Cerner EMR experience (Preferred)
• Comfortable in Level 2 trauma setting
Working Hours
• Daytime: 7 AM – 5 PM hospital consults & procedures
• Overnight: 5 PM – 7 AM call coverage
• Weekend coverage included during on-weeks
Skills
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently in acute care settings
