Seeking an experienced, board-certified Gastroenterologist for locum coverage providing 24-hour call services, including holidays, at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Candidate must be proficient in ERCP and EUS, with availability for ongoing coverage starting in 2026. The role involves inpatient consultations, scoping procedures, and emergency GI interventions.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform GI procedures including ERCP, EUS, endoscopy, and GI bleed management.
• Respond promptly to emergency consultations and urgent procedures.
• Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and trauma teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Complete required EMR (Epic) training and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Qualifications
• Active Colorado medical license or IMLC eligibility (LOQ required at submission).
• Active DEA registration (transferable but must remain valid for duration of assignment).
• Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship.
• Proficiency in ERCP and EUS required.
• Clean malpractice and background record highly preferred.
