Locums-to-Perm | Gastroenterology (Inpatient) | 24-Hour Call | Des Moines, IA Why This Role

  • Inpatient GI locums-to-perm position with long-term continuity
  • 24-hour call structure with both inpatient procedures and consults
  • ERCP required; EUS highly preferred, with flexibility for strong ERCP candidates
Assignment Details Start Date: October 2025 End Date: Ongoing (locums-to-perm need) Schedule: 24-hour call, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m. Coverage Type: Inpatient call + procedures Setting: Hospital-based inpatient gastroenterology Duties: - 3–4 outpatient procedures per day - Inpatient procedures - Inpatient consults Population: Adults only EMR: Cerner Conversion to perm required—provider must sign attestation Providers with ERCP-only skillset may be considered Clinical Details Inpatient GI care ERCP required EUS highly preferred Consults + procedures daily No outpatient clinic panel COVID vaccination required Clean file required Requirements Must be interested in locums-to-perm Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency) IA license or IMLC ACLS Inpatient GI experience ERCP required EUS highly preferred Clean malpractice/background Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
