Locums to Perm | Gastroenterologist | Inpatient + Call | Des Moines, IA (IMLC accepted) Why This Role?

  • Locum to perm opportunity at a major hospital-based GI program
  • ERCP required, EUS highly preferred
  • Full-scope GI with 24-hour call and adult-only patient population
  • Strong support with Cerner EMR and consistent procedure volume
Assignment Details Start Date: October 2025 End Date: Ongoing Assignment Type: 24-hour call coverage (7a-7a) EMR: Cerner Schedule: Inpatient procedures, consults, and 3-4 outpatient procedures/day Clinical Details Inpatient hospital setting only (no clinic) Adult patients only ERCP required EUS highly preferred (but not mandatory) Must be willing and able to convert to permanent if a mutual fit Requirements Board certified or board eligible within 3 years of residency Active IA license or IMLC ACLS certification COVID vaccination Clean history Skills Needed Inpatient GI management and consults ERCP (required) EUS (highly preferred) Endoscopic procedures and inpatient follow-up care Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
