Locum - Gastroenterology - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology in Petoskey, MI

This facility is seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to join the team for locum opportunities. Enjoy a schedule of Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, providing vital gastrointestinal care in a supportive clinic setting with comprehensive services onsite.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform ERCP procedures (required)
• Manage a clinic with 18 outpatients and 20 inpatient scopes daily
• Provide endoscopy coverage and consultations within operating hours
• Collaborate with a team of 2 physicians and 2 APPs
• Utilize onsite lab and X-Ray facilities
• Work with EMR system: Cerner

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience post-fellowship
• Clean background with no actions (minimum malpractice is acceptable)
• Local candidates preferred (driving in)
• COVID vaccination required

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Active Michigan medical license
• Current ACLS certification
• DEA verification at name clear
• ERCP competency
