Job Title: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology in Petoskey, MI

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4:30 PM with 24-hour weekend call. Enjoy a supportive team with onsite laboratory and imaging services to enhance patient care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform ERCP procedures in a hospital clinic setting.
- Manage 18 outpatients and 20 inpatient scopes daily.
- Provide endoscopy coverage and handle consultations during operating hours.
- Collaborate with a team comprising 2 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- Utilize onsite lab and X-ray facilities for comprehensive diagnostics.
- Document patient care using Cerner EMR.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology (required).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of post-fellowship experience.
- Active Michigan medical license and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) at submission.
- Local candidates preferred; must be able to drive to the facility.
- Clean background with no disciplinary actions.
License and Certification Requirements:
- ACLS certification (required).
- ERCP proficiency (required).
- COVID-19 vaccination documentation.
- Current Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella vaccinations or immune titers, and TB screening (within 12 months).
- Tdap vaccination for adults (within the last 10 years).
