Opportunity Overview:
We are seeking a Board Certified or Eligible Gastroenterologist with ERCP experience for a flexible locum tenens assignment at a respected hospital in Northwest Arkansas. This position supports the facility while they transition to a full-time GI provider.
Key Details:

Schedule: 7-day blocks, 1–2 weeks per month

Call: Beeper-only, 30-minute response time

Volume: 4 high risk outpatient screening colonoscopies per day + inpatient add-ons

EMR: Epic
-
Credentialing: 30–90 days; temporary privileges available

Support Staff: You will supervise APPs; no residents or teaching requirements

Procedures Required:
– Colonoscopy with polypectomy and biopsy
– Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy and foreign body removal
– Therapeutic and diagnostic ERCP
– PEG placement
– Sigmoidoscopy
– Esophageal dilation
– Small bowel and liver biopsy
Licensing: Active Arkansas license required.
