Locum-to-Perm - Gastroenterology - MD/DO

Exciting Opportunity for a Gastroenterology Physician in Des Moines, IA!

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide hospital-based coverage for inpatient procedures and consultations.
• Conduct 3-4 outpatient procedures daily.
• Perform ERCP, with EUS highly preferred.
• Offer adult-only Gastroenterology services.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Be part of a 24-hour on-call rotation from 7 AM to 7 AM.

Qualifications:

• Must be interested in a Locum to Perm position.
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3 years of residency.
• Active Iowa License or IMLC.
• ACLS certification required.
• Ability to work inpatient settings is essential.
• ERCP experience is a must; EUS experience is highly preferred.
• COVID vaccination is required.
• Maintain a clean malpractice and background history.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Iowa Licensure or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
• Current ACLS certification.
• ERCP skills are mandatory; EUS skills are highly regarded.
