Perm - Physician - Gastroenterology in Columbus, OH

Join a thriving Gastroenterology practice that is expanding to serve a growing patient network in Columbus, Ohio. This opportunity is located just 15 minutes from downtown Columbus and offers the chance to work in a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2019. You will be part of a team dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a beautiful healing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Practice on one hospital campus with a blend of outpatient office, endoscopy, and inpatient coverage.
• Serve a large, established referral base within the medical group, ACO, and community partners.
• Provide consultative hospital services.
• Collaborate in a patient-centered, team-based care environment.
• Utilize EMR system (EPIC) with onsite lab and X-ray facilities.
• Participate in a call rotation of 1:4.
• Preferred experience in advanced endoscopy training, though not required.
• Full-time, permanent position may require residency in the local area.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• 3-5 years of outpatient Gastroenterology work experience preferred, but GI fellows are encouraged to apply.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine (highly preferred).
• Truly Board Eligible (within 1-5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Gastroenterology (required).
• Ohio medical license (required).
• BLS and ACLS certification (required).
• Advanced Endoscopy training is highly preferred.
