Gastroenterologist - Call-Only with ERCP (Locum Tenens / Part-Time)
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Gastroenterologist to provide specialized "call-only" coverage for our facility. This ongoing opportunity is ideal for a physician seeking a flexible schedule focusing on critical procedures and inpatient needs.
Key Responsibilities & Schedule:
- Schedule: Provide coverage for 1 to 2 weeks per month, with each stretch being 7 consecutive days.
- Outpatient Procedures: Perform approximately 4 high-risk outpatient screening colonoscopies per day during coverage weeks.
- Inpatient Care: Manage inpatient add-ons as needed during coverage.
- Advanced Procedures: Must be proficient in performing ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography).
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- DEA Registration.
- Demonstrated expertise in performing high-risk screening colonoscopies.
- Mandatory proficiency in ERCP procedures.
- Strong commitment to patient care and ability to respond to call-only requirements effectively.
