Job description A well-established private gastroenterology practice is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join their team covering Griffin and Locust Grove Medical Offices in Georgia. Located within 25 minutes of Peachtree City, Fayetteville, and McDonough, and less than 40 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, this opportunity offers a strong work-life balance, clinical autonomy, and partnership potential within a thriving community.

Job Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient gastrointestinal care across two office locations: Griffin and Locust Grove.

Manage an average of 15-18 patients per day.

Perform a wide range of procedures including:

Colonoscopy

EGD – Upper GI Endoscopy

ERCP

EUS

Enteroscopy

Hemorrhoid Banding

Flexible Sigmoidoscopy

Infusion Therapy

Telehealth Consultations

Nutrition Counseling

TIF® Procedure

Video Capsule Endoscopy

Participate in a 1:4 hospital call rotation at Wellstar Spalding.

Opportunity to advance within the practice and pursue ownership tracks.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree required.

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.

Active Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain.

Open to J-1 and H-1B visa candidates (visa sponsorship support available).

New graduate candidates considered through 2025.

Clean malpractice history preferred.

Candidates previously Board Certified and seeking recertification will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Working Hours

Full-time position.

Monday to Friday outpatient schedule.

1:4 hospital call rotation.

Skills

Proficiency in general and advanced GI procedures.

ERCP and EUS skills are highly valued.

Strong commitment to patient care and clinical quality.

Effective teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to excel in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Comfort with telehealth services and nutrition counseling is a plus.
