We are seeking a Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist in Maine.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour days with 30-minute lunch
Start Date: August 2025 or ASAP
End Date: December 2026
Position Details:
Patient Population: Adults
Setting: Outpatient, Hospital
Responsibilities: Outpatient clinic and endoscopic procedures in the OR. 14–16 patients/day in clinic
Required Procedures:

Lower GI Endoscopy
-
Sigmoidoscopy
-
Colonoscopy
-
Upper GI Endoscopy (diagnostic, with biopsy, with banding of varices, with foreign body removal)
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Full OR team including anesthesiologist and CRNA
Days Per Month: Minimum 1 week/month required
On-Call/Weekends: None
Submission Requirements:

Board Certified in Gastroenterology (ABMS or AOA) – Required

Active ME License – Highly Preferred

ACLS/BLS – Required

COVID and Flu Vaccine – Required

Must be available for listed August–October 2025 dates – Required

Must be able to work at least 1 week/month through 2026 – Required
