Gastroenterology Locums in North Carolina - Advanced Procedures
GI locums assignment in North Carolina near Asheville with blocks still available this spring and summer.
Highlights
- Only 1-2 weeks/month; you pick the blocks
- Advanced procedures required: ERCP, EUS, PEG, liver biopsy
- Travel and lodging covered

Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient across two hospitals
- RN and MA support; no APPs
- EMRs: McKesson and Athena
Schedule
- Scheduled clinic hours plus 24-hour beeper call
- Avg: 3 consults and 3 admissions/day
- 30-minute call response time
Cases and Procedures
- Bread-and-butter GI with advanced scope work
- Endoscopy, polyp excision, variceal injections
- Must be proficient in ERCP, EUS, PEG, and liver biopsy
Requirements
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active North Carolina license required
- BLS certification
Travel Accommodations
- Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage all reimbursed
- Within driving distance of Asheville Regional Airport (AVL)
