A thriving, 370-bed hospital located on the Southern Texas Coast, just an hour from Houston, are seeking a full-time GI physician to practice in a dual Program Director and clinical role.
As Program Director, the incoming GI physician will be in a role that is 75% clinical and 25% administrative.
The Position:
• Practice alongside and share call with 4 other GI physicians
• Program Director will be 75% clinical and 25% administrative - 1 full admin day per week
• Hospital has its own IM Residency program, planning for GI Fellowship program in 2026
• Monday-Thursday schedule, 1/2 day on Fridays
• Current GI's perform procedures in morning and see patients in clinic in the afternoon
• Average of 6-10 procedures per day; ERCP option
Compensation:
• Negotiable Base Salary up tp $850K
• Annual Program Director stipend of $135K
• Total income is well into the $1M+ range with wRVU upside
• Sign-on of $50K, Student Loan Repayment options, CME, 25 days PTO, Full Benefits + Retirement/401K
