Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient;
Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat GI disorders using clinical skills and endoscopic procedures

Participate in care of both inpatient and outpatient GI patients

Join a collaborative team of 7 Gastroenterologists and 6 Advanced Practice Providers

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including RNs, LPNs, MAs, pharmacy, and admin staff

Contribute to a patient-centered and team-based culture
Required Procedures: Endoscopic procedures (e.g., colonoscopy, upper endoscopy); advanced procedures as applicable
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: 6 APPs and full clinical/administrative support
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: No weekends or on-call required
Submission Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology (must certify within 2 years of eligibility) – Required

Valid Michigan medical license at time of employment – Required

DEA – Required

BLS Certification and maintenance – Required
