6-Month GI Locum Opportunity in South Carolina paying $4,000.00/day to $4,500.00/day

📍 6-Month GI Locum Opportunity | South Carolina | Advanced Procedures Preferred

We’re working with a top health system in South Carolina seeking Board-Certified GI physicians for a 6-month assignment (with potential to extend). This is a great opportunity to join a high-volume, well-supported GI team covering a mix of hospital, outpatient clinic, and endoscopy center settings.

Position Details:

• Location: South Carolina

• Duration: 6-month block minimum with option to extend

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Call: Offsite call, return for emergencies only

• Setting: Hospital-based, outpatient clinic, and freestanding GI center

• Patient Population: 100% adults

• Support Staff: 5 physicians, 9 mid-levels (6 IP/3 OP), ASC OR team, CRNAs, APP support for rounding

• Charting: Must be completed onsite (not counted toward OT)

• Trauma Level: Level 1

Required Procedures:

• Upper and lower GI endoscopy with biopsy

• Esophageal dilatation & manometry

• Colonoscopy (including biopsy and polyp excision)

• Sigmoidoscopy

• EUS, ERCP

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced endoscopy including foreign body removal, variceal banding/injection, liver biopsy, ERCP, EUS, and use of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
