Job description Adex Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified physicians who require visa sponsorship to practice in the United States. As a Gastroenterologist, you will provide expert evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, perform endoscopic and other GI procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

This position is open to qualified candidates who require visa sponsorship. ADEX will facilitate our Immigration pathway that includes J1 waiver sponsorship and an H1B, leading to permanent residency. • Annual base salary starting from $265,000 - $275,000 per year, with possible additional sessional earnings of up to $50,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose, manage, and treat patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
• Perform endoscopic and other diagnostic or therapeutic GI procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines and hospital policies.
• Conduct patient evaluations, review test results, and develop individualized treatment and management plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including surgeons, oncologists, dietitians, and nursing staff—to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care.
• Accurately document patient encounters, procedures, and treatment progress in electronic medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, departmental meetings, and hospital committees as required.
• Provide timely consultation and respond to urgent or emergent gastrointestinal cases when necessary.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology (or equivalent).
• Valid medical license or eligibility to obtain a medical license in [State].
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care to diverse patient populations.
