Gastroenterologist Position in Bay City, MI

Join a dynamic healthcare team in the heart of Bay City, Michigan, where McLaren Bay Region is looking for two gastroenterologists to establish and grow a new practice. This advanced facility is equipped with a state-of-the-art ambulatory endoscopy surgery center, providing an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your skills in a supportive environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform ambulatory endoscopy procedures, along with inpatient ERCP and EUS.
• Collaborate with well-trained staff to efficiently manage patient flow through endoscopy care.
• Participate in an on-call rotation with a schedule of 1:3.
• Provide shared call coverage, including support from Hospitalists.
• Work in a single hospital setting, with a GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital.
• Sustain and grow a successful practice within the community.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Experience in ERCP and EUS is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Michigan medical license (or in process).
• Must have a current NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days).
• Active DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).
• CSR/CDS registration (must be obtained prior to start).
