- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 12-16 patients per shift. This locum Gastroenterology opportunity involves primarily clinic-based work, with the potential for call coverage. If taking a call, the provider is expected to work in the clinic and be available for calls from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and remain on night call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM. There is also a possibility of coverage at another hospital, which will be confirmed and added as needed.

Job Responsibilities
* Participate in call coverage as needed, including day and night shifts
* Collaborate with clinic and hospital staff to ensure continuity of care
* Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Qualifications
* Active and unrestricted medical license in the practicing state
* Prior experience in both clinic and call settings preferred
Working Hours
* Optional call coverage: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (paid hourly), with night call from 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
* Potential coverage at another hospital (to be confirmed)
Skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage a flexible schedule and multitask effectively
* Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation standards
